Weekly Brief - I need your help!
27/06/09
Hello all, this Israel Anderson host and creator of God's iPod. Now you may not be aware, especially if you're one of our newer listeners, that God's iPod reaches out to 100,000 people every month with these podcasts that really bring the Kingdom to people. I do all this myself, and there's a lot of time and cost that goes it. So I ask each and every one of you that is able to consider sponsoring this work I do so i can continue it. Now in February I had to close God's iPod down because the financial support I need to keep this running just wasn't there. We had some donors rush to our aid and immediately gave us the funding we needed. So for February and March we met our small budget, but for for April and May, and now looking at June, we have fallen well short of the budget, and I really need your help. Now I know times are tough for a lot of people, yet it's during these times that people turn back to seeking God, which makes this little ministry more important than ever before. So would you dig deep for me today. We have a small budget, of only $1700 a month, which is nothing compared to a radio station. In fact that is costs us less than 2 tenths of one cent to reach the people we do. Now I have been throwing in $600 of my own money to cover this, but lately I have been blessed by one family that has been covering that for me. We then have some other people that sponsor us a regular monthly amount, and so we take all that away and we're left with an average of $890 which is what I display in the donation widget on the website. So far this month which is just 2 days away from being over, we have raised 15% of that, which is appreciated very much, but if we could get the widget up to the 100% mark, that would be fantastic and we can keep this good thing going. I really appreciate you all, and a huge thank you to those that have given and give every single month, this ministry hinges on your support, so thank you.
Have an awesome week, may the Lord protect your job, find you employment if you have none, and either way, may He richly bless you this coming week.
Chen & Shalom, which is Hebrew for Grace and Peace...
