Geoff Bullock was a founder of "Hillsongs Music Australia" and convened the annual Hillsong Conference from its inception in 1987 until 1995. During that time Geoff co-produced Hillsong’s first six albums and composed many of their most well-known songs including: “The Power of Your love”, “This Kingdom”, “Refresh my heart”, “I will never be” and “The Great Southland”.
After eight years as the Worship Pastor of the Hillsong Church in Sydney (Australia), Geoff decided to move on and expand his influence as a songwriter and communicator to the broader Christian community. However, for a number of years Geoff’s life encountered brokenness and disappointment. During this time Geoff became acutely aware of the unmerited grace, mercy, forgiveness and love that we find in Jesus.
He emerged with a passion to communicate this grace through his songs, his writings and his stories. In 1998, his first book; ’Hands of Grace’ was released with great success. In 2000, he followed this with; ’Power of your love: Jesus, the unexpected God’. This book was short listed for the Australian Christian Book of the year: 2000-2001.
Geoff continues to write songs that speak of the unmerited grace, mercy and love of God. He speaks of the aroma of God "that invades our failure and our hopelessness and turns disgrace into grace, dark to light, death to life, the end into a beginning and broken dreams into brand new promises".
